CLE ELUM, WA – As Kittitas County residents prepare for a dry summer and increased fire risks, the Swauk Teanaway Grange, in partnership with the Upper County Senior Center & KCFD7, will host a wildfire Preparedness Seminar on managing fire risks for homes and property.
The event features two expert speakers dedicated to community safety:

- Savannah Davies, Administrative Specialist/Community Risk Reduction at KCFD7. Ms. Davies will lead a discussion on “Fire Wising,” covering how structures ignite in wildfires, the importance of home hardening, and creating defensible space to prevent structure loss.
